About WHOM
Working Hands Outreach Ministries (WHOM) exists to help the Church in Amador County live out practical, Christ-centered love in our community. We are a faith-based nonprofit that listens for real needs in our neighborhoods and then connect those needs with people, churches, and organizations who are ready to help. Rather than replacing or competing with existing ministries, WHOM was created to come alongside them—strengthening what is already happening, filling gaps where needs fall through the cracks, and helping the Body of Christ serve together with greater clarity and coordination.

WHOM functions as a hub that connects local needs with local resources. Our churches are full of people with time, skills, tools, finances, and compassion that can make a real difference for neighbors facing hardship or living in underserved situations. By thoughtfully connecting those God-given resources to real people and real situations, we help restore dignity, stabilize lives, and strengthen our community. At its heart, WHOM is about answering Jesus’ call to love our neighbors in tangible ways so that individuals, families, and the wider community can flourish.
